Conference "Taturovskiye Readings"

On 12-13 September 2019 Nexia Audit Advice will take part in the 47th International Conference “Taturovskiye Readings” on the Theory and Practice of “Reforming Accounting, Audit and Accounting Education in Accordance with the International Standards in Terms of Transition to the Innovative Economy" held by Lomonosov Moscow State University to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Anatoliy D. Sheremet, Grand PhD in Economic sciences, a recognized professor of Lomonosov Moscow State University and President of the Russian Auditors Association “Sodruzhestvo”.
 
The participants of the Conference will discuss such critical issues as audit and accounting reforms, oversight of the audit activity, accounting education and accounting education standards change, transformation of professional communities’ role and self-regulation of the audit activity, amendments to ethics and standards regulations, application of information technology, digitalization of economy and other issues.
 
The  Conference will involve representatives of ACCA, Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Federal Treasury and  the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, heads of professional associations and audit and assurance companies representatives from Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
 
Nexia Audit Advice will be represented by Director General of Nexia Audit Advice and Head of Nexia Baltic Region Andrejs Ponomarjovs, Dr.oec., assistant professor of RISEBA, Chairman of the Board and President of the Association of Accountants of the Republic of Latvia, who will give a report on the audit of public interest entities in Latvia.
